"I have a blessed life," Michael states, reflecting on living and working in Harrisburg. The Stewarts have a strong family history traced to the 1700s in Virginia - their ancestors migrated to Pennsylvania in the 1890s. A Penn State graduate, he taught school and then became a district justice for ten years. He's a strong advocate of encouraging young people to become involved in politics and is a Dauphin County Democratic committeeman and serves on its Executive and Legislative Boards.
